10–12 Months Out: Book the Core Vendors

Now that the big pieces are set, it’s time to fill in the heart of your celebration. Reserve your caterer and any other key vendors. If you haven’t already, start dress shopping—and book your DJ or band so the dance floor is covered. This is when your wedding day really starts to take shape.

8–10 Months Out: Design + Details

You’ll want to send save the dates during this window, especially if your wedding falls on a holiday weekend or is out of town. Start working closely with your florist or designer to solidify your decor vision. Order your wedding dress and bridesmaid attire. Schedule your hair and makeup trials, and finalize your ceremony structure—including who will officiate.

6 Months Out: Confirm + Communicate

2–3 Months Out: Finalize the Essentials
